Lunch Service: A delicious lunch is served in the dining room of the CAC every weekday. Eleanor and her team prepare healthy, full course menus each month. Click on the Monthly Menu tab to discover this month's offerings. Plan a trip to the Center to dine on Malibu Chicken, Liver and Onions, Fish or Roast Turkey today.

PS: There's always a great dessert, too!
Meals on Wheels: These same delicious meals are prepared and delivered to area home-bound friends. These daily meals are prepared and delivered hot (or frozen for heating on weekends) right to doorsteps all around town. If you or someone you know can't leave home and needs nutritionally balanced meals delivered to their home, call the Center at 541-469-6822.
Time Out Program: Sally and her volunteers offer music and fun every Monday for participants in this supportive program. This respite care program provides temporary, one-day-a-week care for a dependent, an ill or handicapped person to provide relief for their usual caregiver. This way, trained patient care is provided so the primary health caregiver can rest, attend a support group, shop or take some well-deserved time off.
You can learn the latest updates in driving laws and possibly save some money in this driver's safety course held at the Center.  The sessions begin at 9:00 am on Thursdays and ends at approximately 4:00 pm, with a lunch break at noon. Students of all ages learn how individual driving habits can be improved for safer commutes.

This Driver Safety Course provides direction and tips on: negotiating busy intersections, defensive driving skills, new car safety technologies (anti-lock brakes, air bags, etc.) as well as current traffic laws.

Fees for this Course are $15.00 for AARP Members and $20.00 for non-AARP Members. Most Automobile Insurance Companies offer discounts on Annual Automobile rates when they are presented with a Certificate that each individual is awarded at the end of the Course. Call the Center today if you want to take this course to learn safe driving techniques.
